Situation

Desilena Spanish language school for foreigners is located in Tenerife, the largest of the eight Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean just 115 km from the African coast.

The Canary archipelago is made up of eight islands and five islets and has a population of more than 2,100,000 inhabitants. These islands are (from East to West): La Graciosa, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro, of which the most populated are Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

The climate of the islands has led to the development of a variety of fauna and flora with many endemic species. In addition, in the Canary Islands there are four National Parks: La Caldera de Taburiente in La Palma; The Garajonay in La Gomera; Timanfaya in Lanzarote and Las Cañadas del Teide in Tenerife and numerous nature and biosphere reserves.

Our school is located in Costa Adeje, one of the favorite destinations in Tenerife for those who visit us, since we enjoy a spring-summer weather throughout the year having temperatures around 20ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer.

The academy is just 1 minute walk from the beach of Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje.
